Do we need more traffic calming in our area?

Butterflies became real-life geographers this week as they headed out to complete a traffic survey along London Road. The children carefully counted vehicles and recorded their findings, but the survey sparked even more curiosity!

They had lots of fantastic questions:
Why were there so many cars on the road?
Why did we only see one bicycle?
Why did all the buses seem to arrive at the same time?

The children also wondered whether the results would be different if we carried out the survey at another time of day. It has certainly got us thinking about how and why traffic patterns change!
