Spring 1 Week 6
We had a noisy afternoon exploring the instruments. We played them loudly, softly, peacefully, to make us jump etc. We also discussed different situations where the noises the instruments make could be used.

Today in Science we took part in a soap and pepper investigation to understand the importance of hygiene.
Spring 1 Week 4 The Great Fire of London Day
Today the children have had a brilliant day learning all about The Great Fire of London. They started off creating a mind map of what they already knew. They then built paper houses ready to burn the next day(as it was too rainy today). After break they made collage pictures depicting the great fire. During the afternoon, they performed a dance learning about how the fire started in Pudding Lane. At the end of the day, the children learnt the song September 1666.

Today in Science we worked hard to group different foods into their food groups.

In Maths, we have been learning about money. We practised making ?1 in lots of different ways using coins.
Spring 1 Week 1
Our focus religion in RE this half term is Hinduism. In today?s lesson we learnt about how much they value their families and how they consider each family to have their own role. We drew around our own hands to represent our families.
Autumn 2 Week 7
Today, the children in Year 3 enjoyed sharing their stories with Year 2.

This week in RE, Wolf Class have enjoyed learning about advent and made their own advent wreaths.
Wolf Autumn 2 Week 5
This week Wolf class have been exploring 2D shapes. We enjoyed completing a range of activities such as making 2D shapes using geoboards, straws, playdough and lollysticks. We also drew 2D shapes using a ruler.
Autumn 2 Week 4
This week we had Sheena and Katie visit to discuss the Nativity story. They used puppets to retell the story and encouraged the children to consider what they could learn from it.

As part of Geography, we have been naming the seas which surround the UK.


Autumn 2 Week 2
Odd Sock Day - As part of Anti-Bullying Week, we wore odd socks to school today. We discussed how this was to celebrate our differences. We spoke about choosing respect - treating other people with kindness despite them being different or having different views. We designed our own odd socks with our favourite colours, patterns and designs.

Autumn 2 Week 1
In English, we have been exploring instructions. The children gave each other instructions to draw a house. They then read a range of instructions and compared their similarities and differences.
