Welcome to Duck Class Gallery.

 

Mrs Skinner teaches in Duck class on a Monday and Tuesday.

Mr Brownsell teaches in Duck class on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

 

Duck class have PE on a Wednesday (Please wear PE kit into school)

Duck class have Forest School on a Wednesday PM ( all weathers)

Duck class visit the Library on a Friday.

 

Please ensure book bags are sent into school daily.

 

Summer Term Learning 

We look forward to sharing our weekly learning with you.

 

Summer 1 - Week 6 

We have been learning all about the working farm this half term.

We ended the half term with a visit to Gemma's Farm.

We got a coach to and from the farm and had a lovely picnic.

Farmer Keith and Farmer Gemma taught us lots about farm Animals.

Summer 1 - week 5

We have been learning all about spring changes.

We have been learning to find out information.

We have been listening carefully and asking wonderful questions.

Our caterpillars turned into Butterflies this week!

Please do ask us about the lifecycle of a caterpillar.

Summer 1 - week 4

We have had a week exploring 2D and 3D shapes.

We created our own lunches and had a picnic!

We all created different shape sandwiches and followed instructions very carefully.

Summer 1 - Week 3 

Growing Week!

We have been learning all about growth.

We have created a new gardening area in our outdoor area.

Duck class now has a greenhouse and we are growing beans.

It has been a wonderful week full of outdoor learning.

Summer 1 - week 2

We have been looking and learning about patterns this week.

We have created our own patterns.

We can now create repeating patterns and can talk about the rules that our pattern follows.

We have been learning about symmetrical patterns and have explored butterfly wings!

Summer 1 - week 1 

It has been a week full of creepy crawlies!

We have been looking at habitats.

We have been learning to explore and observe our natural world.

We created a new bug house!
